Rebecca is the only one who made the trip and she represented well. Grabbing two more cruiser wins, a cruiser second, and main event qualifiers all 3 days in a stacked 21-30 women class. Up next for the BMX team is the East Coast Nationals in Severn, MD. Rebecca is stoked to be back racing with all her teammates in just two weeks!USABMX East Coast NationalAnother race weekend done and dusted for the BMX team up in Maryland. The results were HOT! Rebecca got her final 2 wins on cruiser. This means she will be going into Grands with 8 wins ready to battle it out with the best (in the country) for the NAG 1 plate. She also picked up 3 podiums (two 2nds and a 3rd) in 21-30 women. Awesome! Kit Bjerk also picked up some wins, making his total of 5 wins so far this year. He is hoping to pick up his final 3 at the hometown national in Burlington, NC next month. Cole Revis also made the trip up and raced hard. He came just shy of the main events, making it out of motos into semis. We are excited to see what is to come as he continues to work hard and improve each race. On deck, the bmx team has the Stars and Stripes National Akron, OH over the 4th and then the hometown Tar Heel National in Burlington, NC at the end of July. – Please come out and join us at the event! Thank you all for getting these young riders out to the races, we appreciate your support! ... See MoreSee Less

Great weekend of racing for VS! Along with Eli’s 2nd place at the Tour of Somerville, we had another group of racers head north to test their legs against a new field.Harrison, Lucius, and Gus took a ride in the van up to Columbia, MD, for the Carl Dolan Memorial race on one of my favorite circuits at the Gateway Business Park. In the 11-12 event, H and Lu attacked the strong field with another rider and then sprinted to 1st and 2nd place! Gus made the break in the 9-10 race and hung on for 3rd place! There were a lot of strong junior riders and the guys got a chance to see many of the people they’ll be racing at nationals next month.
